Council supports library sub-branch at Colac

I have stood firm with two other fellow Councillors to try and save the Colac Library.  Unfortunately, due to the majority decision to proceed, ratepayers will be burdened with $1.3 million of debt for many years to come to fund the Joint Use Library (JUL) experiment.

Council adopts Environment Strategy

Council adopted its new Environment Strategy for 2010 to 2018 at the Council meeting held on 27 January 2010.

Council improves community consultation policy

At the January 2010 meeting Council adopted a revised community consultation policy.   The actual  title of the revised policy is the "Community Engagement Policy".

The draft  was released for comment at the Council's meeting on 28/10/'09.

Minister signs Joint Use Library agreement despite community verdict
